Hello,
I'm having troubles with the app installed on my tablet since the beginning of the week :
- Actions like next/previous or setting the volume are very slow to be performed.
- When I try to navigate into current track, the sound quickly become twitchy/stutterd.
I have a premium account, and I use Spotify Connect on a Yamaha RN-602 amp via Wi-Fi.
The tablet is a Galaxy Note 2014 edition.
Note : Everything runs smoothly when I use the Windows app on my PC.
Note2 : I already tried to re-install the app on the tablet, no improvements noticed.
Thank you for your help !

I was full of expectations seeing an update of android app yesterday's afternoon. Arrived at home late evening, tested and VOILA! Works flawlessly! Thanks Spotify for sorting that out!
I know this may seem silly, but I would consider turning the tablet on and off and also making sure your Spotify application is updated with the newest platform. However, some tablets do not pair well with the application itself, so it may simply be an issue that a Community forum cannot help resolve.
Best of luck!

Same with Yamaha V479 - used to work flawelessly until Saturday morning, 17th Dec. Now it cuts with both smartphone and desktop app. Can't be a Yamaha problem as nothing has change in the configuration (same firmware, same ISP, as well as all the wifi settings).
SPOTIFY do something about it FFS!!!
I have been having the same issue since Saturday, Dec. 17th – on both my Desktop and iPhone apps. Playback stops constantly and the Spotify app is very slow. If I try to search for a track or artist, the results take a very long time to load.
Thanks for your answers !
Sorry but restart the tablet dosen't change anything.
I don't think it comes from the amp, as it used to work correctly with Spotify connect before.
Update : I installed and tried the app on my Motorola Moto 4G today : same behaviour.
At least, on PC it's ok.
But if the situation remains the same too long, I will be sorry to have to reconsider my premium subscription...
Also have the same issue with my Yamaha RX-V479. Spotify Connect have always worked until last weekend when it the playback started stuttering. Tried reinstalling Spotify and updated the Yamaha firmware, still no go. Internet radio is working so it can't be the internet connection of the receiver.
Streaming to all mobile devices is working, but Spotify Connect is a mess right now.
