Artist shuffle play automatically plays "This is: " playlist

Hello,

I've been having trouble trying to figure out how to play an artists entire discography from mobile. From the mobile android view I can only see the top 5 songs and a shuffle play button. If I hit one of the top 5 songs and let it play, it will only play the top 10 songs  (as you would be able to see on desktop) and then hits the end. 

What's really strange is that if I hit shuffle play, it automatically go to the artists "This is: [Artist]" playlist. Whenever I've tried to to get shuffle to work I've noticed that the playlist appears in my "jump back in" section and the radio will be based off of that playlist rather than whole artist. I'd like to listen to the artists entire catalog, rather than the 15 or so songs in that one playlist. 

From desktop Ive been able to get it to work by playing a song from the albums as they all appear on the front page of that artist, however on mobile if I play from an album its locked to that single album. If I start playing from desktop, then that will continue to play every song in the catalog if I switch to my android.

My mobile device is a Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 6.0.1. Spotify is Version 8.4.4.810 armV7

Sadly, there's no way to do this on android. The desktop client will list all tracks by an artisit on their artist page but not on android. I can't think of a way around this limitation but starting play on the desktop client or popping all the tracks (using ctrl-A) into a playlist sounds like a reasonable work-around.

I have this same issue on iOS, I can't seem to get around it other than having to create my own playlist to include all the artist's work, or shuffle through each album one by one. 
It's obviously not the biggest issue in the world but it is really annoying when you just want to hit shuffle on an artist to listen to their broad range of work and instead being lumped with what Spotify considers to be their best tracks.

I'm experiencing this same behavior as well on Android. Seems like the behavior still has not changed. Conversely, the Windows desktop app has different behavior and plays the entire discography when the play control at the top of the artist page is clicked.
