My Question or Issue

I've been having issues with the audio on Spotify. Every time I start to listen to a song the sound quality is really bad (low volume).  It's weird because when I open up Facebook and watch a video there and then listen back on Spotify the audio just fixes itself so I understand that this isn't a hardware issue. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Hi @hitjhon,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

Then, we suggest that you make sure the Data saver is off and that you've restarted your phone to sync up the changes.

Let us know how it goes!

I just did what you said but unfortunately it didn't work. This issue also occurs every time I change to new a song by the way. I don't know why this happens but is really annoying to watch a video on Facebook in order to fix the audio quality. I thought maybe this could be related to Realme's firmware considering I haven't had this issue with other phones I owned.

Thank you for trying to help nevertheless.

Hey @hitjhon

Thanks for your quick reply 🙂

Would you mind letting us know if this is happening while you're using the Connect feature, Bluetooth or headphones or only when you're listening to music directly on your phone?

Additionally, we suggest that you check this article to make sure that Audio Quality is set to high quality in the app's Settings menu.

Keep in mind that the audio settings can't be changed when using Spotify Connect to play on another device.

Keep us in the loop!
