Audio Effects is **bleep**d up

Audio Effects is **bleep**d up

So when im listening to music im using the audio effect option.
Using the the "hip hop" setting and have boosted the bass a bit. this makes the treble lower and then i have to have the volume higher, and every time i get a text and some times when im switching to another app the audio effect setting is just resetting to default. and this makes the treble 3 times higher then it is with the audio effect. this is starting to be a major pain in the ass.
it has been like this for about 4 months and i thought you guys where working on it and that other people then me had the same problem.

im currently using a samsung galaxy s4, with android version 4.3.
Please fix this, it is hurting my ears each time this is happening. and its happening multiplied times every single day.

Have you updated to latest version of Spotify?

Yes, also i have reinstalled the app. and the problem is stil there

I have another problem with Audio Effects.

I have a playlist with a song that is locally synced from my PC.

Whenever I play that song (and other local files), the Audio Effects resets and I have to open the settings > Audio Effects and it instantly activates again.

This problem doesn't occur when streaming online songs.

EDIT:

Using a Nexus 4 with standard Android 4.4 KitKat
