Autoplay Not Working on Android

My Question or Issue

Autoplay not working automatically, stops at the end of the playlist unless I press the next button 6 - 10 times, and then autoplay kicks in, but does not work permanently - stops working the minute I switch to another playlist and reach the end. Confirmed system software and Spotify app up to date. Confirmed working on other devices (PC, iPhone). Tried restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as turning autoplay on & off to no avail. Please help.
