Bluetooth headphones no longer skipping/pausing tracks on spotify. Works for any other app I have.

My Question or Issue

My bluetooth headphones have stopped skipping/pausing tracks on spotify, but it still works on other apps I have (like castbox). Spotify is the only app it wont work. Has been maybe three days, never had this issue before. 

Headphones are Anker Soundcore Spirit Pro
