Bring back ability to start a radio station but keep playing the song it’s based on

My Question or Issue

Spotify used to allow premium users to start a radio station based on a song by seamlessly continuing to play the base song. Now when I start a station, it cuts off the base track and shuffles to a new song. This doesn’t work when I’m trying to use Spotify to DJ for a party or work environment. In fact, it sounds terrible. This issue is listed under “implemented ideas” on the feedback forum because it was first raised in 2012 and implemented sometime after, but recently discontinued. Please bring it back! I can’t imagine anyone really wants to cut off the track they’re trying to base a station on. Thanks.

2 weeks and crickets from the Spotify people on this.  Seems like they aren't really monitoring these boards.  I'm going to check out Pandora.  I've heard they've really improved their premium service.  It's the same price as Spotify and offers a 60-day trial.  Hopefully they're more on top of their game.
