Can't access controls on lock screen

Hi, I had an Xperia Z3 and Spotify worked great whilst locked. I could skip and pause no problem.

I've just gotten the Xperia Z5 today and while the phone is locked it will show me the background image of the song playing. But no controls. When I pull down for notifications there is no mini controls in there either until I unlock the device. Once unlocked I can then use the mini controls from the notification pull down screen or the app itself but this is no good when I'm driving 😞

Sounds like you need to change your notification priority settings in the Android settings on your device. There are details on how to do this in the guide linked to in my signature.

Hi pal, I already read previous threads and they suggested the same. But I already checked my settings and they are already set to be completely open.

As you can see from the below screen shots (which on a side note may I say is difficult to take a screen shot of your lock screen with the fingerprint sensor, I had to use my spoon handle haha) the lock screen just shows the song image but no information or controls, and the app notifications are all as they should be.

As I say, it worked fine on my Z3, so this may be a Z5 issue rather than an Android/Spotify issue.
