Can't download Spotify app

Solved!

Can't download Spotify app

Hi

Ive been using the free version of Spotify across various devices and want to sign up for Permium but wont do so until i can get this sorted.

On my computer - it works perfectly

On my iPad - perfect

On my Samsung Galaxy S3 - apparently im in the wrong country.

I live in Guernsey, UK which is on the list of usable locations, yet i cannot find Spotify in the Google play store, which suggests its not available to my country.

If i try to download it from the spotify website, this app is incompatible with all of your devices.

So i select install anyhow and am then told, there are no elligible devices for app install.

Its running Android 4.3

Ive tried downloading it via proxy, all of which seem to be too slow to allow this.

Does anyone else have any ideas of what i can do to get this on my phone?

Thanks

I checked the territories list here and is listed as a UK Crown Dependency so you shouldn't have any issues. It seems that Google is detecting that you are in a country other than the UK. Do you have the same problem whether you connect to Play through wifi or 3G?

You can download the android spotify app from m.spotify.com although this isn't ideal.
