Can't play music

There seems to be an advertisment that won't play therefore I can't listen to songs

Could you confirm if you are using an SD card for Spotify storage? If so try to move to device storage and see if the issue persists. To do so, head over to Spotify -> settings -> storage.

You should also disable any VPN service if active that could be interfering with the app. This includes VPN apps, OS-level AdBlockers, content blockers, and DNS services.

 

Make sure your Spotify app is updated and perform a clean-install using this guide. This tends to fix most issues easily.
