Cannot go online on mobile

My Question or Issue

My phone simply will not go online in spotify. I have tried different networks and even data usage and it will not go online. There is not even an offline mode option for me in settings. I really have no idea what else to do... Spotify still works on my pc on the same wifi.

Okay I actually just called a friend of mine and he fixed it.
He told me to hit the "force stop" button in settings > apps > spotify. That worked perfectly DESPITE my multiple attempts at uninstalled and clearing cache and data.m Let me know if this helped anyone else.
