Cant add music to playlist on Galaxy S8+

Hey guys! I don't know if anyone else is having problems or not with this issue but I'm not able to add songs to any of my playlists. I've previously spoken to someone who works with spotify but still no news and that was like a month ago. Any help?

What version of spotify are you running? Could you talk us through what actually happens?

8.4.3.479 is the version. When I look up a song I can listen to it normally
but when I hit add to a playlist, nothing happens. My previous playlist
screen won't come up.

Are you using a blue light filter by any chance?

I have it but it's not enabled on my phone.
