Cant logging to my spotify app

Hi guys can anyone help,I am running on Android phone and I'm having problems entering my Spotify app downloaded from Play Store after a new password was asked for I can get into the main spotify.com with my email address and new password no problem comma but when I try to go into my downloaded application I am unable to get in and it keeps on saying username or password incorrect please try again please can you help me

Are you logging in with your spotify username and not with an email address? If your account is linked to facebook, you should use the facebook login.
