My Question or Issue

I have been having issues with certain podcast episodes playing. I have been listening to the show "Up and Vanished" and I am currently on s1e14 but it just sits 0:00 instead of playing. The same goes for e15 and e16, but then episode 17 it starts playing again. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and it still didn't work. Then after I cleared the cache again and restarted the app, it started playing. I have noticed this on another podcast as well, but all music plays fine. Any ideas?

I was listening to episodes of the podcast "Noble Blood" without issue for several days, but now all of a sudden none of them will play - it just sits at 0:00. If I drag the time ahead, it just sits at whatever time I drag it to. This is true on both my desktop and my phone, and persists through reinstall, logging out and back in and restarting. I also do not seem to be able to download the episodes.

Hey @Hashbrown79,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

When the issue seems to be fixed by deleting the cache, it means that it was related to some damaged app files stored on your device from previous updates that were affecting the proper behavior of the app.

In this type of case, we'd recommend removing any SD cards inserted on the device and performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article (in case it happens again), as this process clears all unnecessary cache and ensures you're running the latest version of the app. It's also necessary to restart your device after this process to apply the changes.

But we're glad to know that everything is working fine now. Hopefully, this tip will help other users in your situation.

If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
