Data Usage

Data Usage

Hey all, so I was just curious to know if I would go over my data listening to music for roughly 2 and a half hours a day? I have 6GB of data that resets monthly. I have WIFI at home and at my course. But I have never tried to listen to music on the train ride to my course and back home.

I take an hour train ride to head up to my course and an hour and 20 minutes heading home. I was just wondering if 6GB would he suffice for a month?
I listen on Normal Quality if that helps!
Thanks!

So I found how much space it would take up if you downloaded it on your phone, though I'm not sure if that's the same amount of data it would take if you stream it.

Quality 96 kbps => 0.72 MB per minute.
Quality 160 kbps => 1.2 MB per minute.
Quality 320 kbps => 2.4 MB per minute.

It's exactly the same, but that without scrobbling / cover images - so it is a bit more in real life. Also surfing in Spotify app in Online mode can consume some data.
