Default Episodes playlist doesn't allow sorting or even respect the order episodes were added

My Question or Issue

I recently realize there's a new feature that allows me easily to add podcasts episodes to a default playlist called "Meus Episodios" (My episodes). After a few days I realize that I was listening to the podcast episodes in the reversal order I had added it to the list.
Besides that, there's no way to sort the playlist too.
I have tried to change the default playlist the "Plus" button add the episode too, but it seems that I have to change every episode I add.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

You should be able to use the sort and filter functions on every playlist on your mobile device. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here.

If these features don't work properly, it's possible that some of the app files have gotten damaged and are causing Spotify to malfunction. We recommend you log out everywhere and run a clean reinstall on all your devices, this involves deleting the cache files of the app and will force a account wide resynchronization of your info. You can have a look at this guide for the steps relevant to each device.

If afterwards the issue persist, could you please share a couple of screenshots or a video of what you see at your end and the Spotify version you have running? We'll be happy to take a closer look.

I can't find an option to sort "My episodes" playlist under Podcasts. Sorting works for music playlists but not for podcasts. Followed the app reinstall but still no sorting option. 

I'm not sure how people are used to listening podcasts but for me it is logical to listen episodes from subscribed podcasts in the order they are added - older episodes first.

Currently there is no option to sort the episodes in the My episodes section. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us as we always strive to improve our app and the experience with it. We will make sure to pass it on to the right team.

You can also have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and submit your idea. Rest assured that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.  

In case you can't sort the episodes under a specific podcast, we'd suggest you also try on another device to see if the issue persists.

Please, Please solve this itme at once!!!
I usually listen to the My epiodes while driving and find very hard to select the RIGHT next episode after an episode finishes.

It's ludicrous that "episodes" which masquerades as a playlist for podcasts can't be sorted or even manually arranged.  Why isn't this fixed yet? Podcasts are by nature ordered listening. 

It's also worth noting that the virtual playlist "episodes" also doesn't sync to garmin.

It's disappointing that support replied with a stock answer without even attempting to look at the issue.

It isn't an "idea". It's a request to fix it. Episodes is a playlist. And playlists need sorting. And podcasts, which episodes is for, demand sorting even more.
