Deleted all the files..

Deleted all the files..

So I decided to grab another older phone I had lying around to use for music, and removed the SD from my primary phone that had about 10GB of saved music (Spotify files) and when I try and sync up my music on the other device, the switch up had removed ALL my synced files on my SD! Are you not allowed to transfer your files between devices?! What's the deal?

Hey @ChinoroundeYe

Spotify has an offline file management system that protects the music

If the Spotify app is deleted or the SD card is moved to another phone, the offline files become unplayable. Offline music is encrypted and managed by each device.

You will need to download the files separately on each device.

You can manage your offline devices here:

https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/

Hey there!

First of all, thanks for the reply. But decided to hop back on here and revamp this by adding in that my SD card (Spotify synced music) gets erased just by a quick removal from the device as well. Even after I return the card back into the same device.
