Disable activity sharing on Android

Disable activity sharing on Android

Hi all.

I'm running Spotify on my Android device. Usually, I don't want my followers to view the songs I'm playing. At the moment, when I open up the Spotify app, I must enter the settings menu, then choose "Private mode" (or what it's called), before starting to listen to music. What I'd like is to make this setting permanent. If I recall correctly, on the older versions of the app, on could choose to share activity or not, but now, as far as I can see, I only have the "Private mode" feature, which is automatically disabled after a few hours.

Is there a way to accomplish permanent "private mode", i.e. disable activity sharing?

Greetings,

Kenneth

I contacted the support team, and learned that if I in the desktop app uncheck the "Share my activity with Spotify friends" (or something like that),this will apply to the mobile app as well.

My feature request is that this setting be re-introduced in the mobile app.
