Distored/slowed sound on Nexus

I have a problem when using Spotify on my tablet. Sometimes the sound is distorted and slowed. This happens randomly during a song and will only stop after (a few) hard restarts of the app. After a clean reinstall the problem still persists.

Hi. Well, there are a lot of things that could cause problems in the sound. I mean it could be the app, the operative system, the headphones or device's speakers, or a bad equalization.

Try the following, first be sure to set the audio at the highest quality. Then go to EQ and turn it off or on depending on how it is set right now and play with it trying to improve the sound.

Well it's not wrongly adjusted sound, it could happen halfway into a song and the music just slows and gets distorted. The operating system is Android 6.0.1 but the problems were also there on Android 6.0 and I think 5. Quality is set to the highest setting and EQ is off. The sound on my tablet is played through my stereo set.

Are you listening through headphones, the speakers? wired, wireless?

I'm listening through a 3,5mm jack plug, plugged into my stereo set.
