My Question or Issue
Since the last update I can't download music to my SD card anymore. Download feature still works but it doesn't let me choose between local storage and SD card. That's very annoying because I've a lot of music that I download because I don't have a good connection. And now I can't because it doesn't fit in my local storage ! By the way, I also bought a 128Gb SD card mainly to store my spotify songs... So I used to love Spotify app but now that this feature disappear makes me confused and I hesitate to go for another streaming service that allow SD card downloads...
Please tell me that this issue can be fixed.
P.S. We don't all have the last high end smartphone with 500Gb internal storage.. (me included)

Hey @Tommy78,
Thanks for getting back to thread and letting us know that it was the SD card! Also, great tip to check the SD card in another device to see if that's where the issue is.
Glad to see this is fixed for you too @pguerrero99!

Hey @Tommy78,
Welcome to the community!
The storage option only appears if your SD Card is available and accessible, which might mean something's happened to make Spotify not recognise your SD card.
Could you try giving the app a reinstall? Hopefully, this'll make the option appear.
Let us know how you get on,
/T
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. After further investigation, it appears that the issue is caused by a broken SD card. My camera app doesn't recognize it anymore to, so I ordered a new one and I hope it will solve the issue (I've already done some reinstalling and remove and insert sd card multiple but it seems broken because I can see it but my phone doesn't seem to recognize it in apps).
Sorry for this inconvenience,
I'll get back to you when I receive my new SD card to tell you if it works properly.
I cant believe we had the same issue. The same day. And we both realize what was wrong at the same time.
I tracked this posting hoping it was a spotify issue. But you are correct. Broken sd on my end too.
Glad that at least we know what happened.
Just recieved my new SD card and yes it works fine now !
So yeah kinda funny and we both have our answer to this issue 😉
Yep. Got mine a new one and it works. Out of who knows how many spotify users it was indeed a funny coincidence.
Yeah for sure ! ^^
Btw, what brand was your SD card ? mine was a 128Gb Sandisk Ultra that broke after less than 2 years..
