Downloaded Playlists are not downloaded anymore after update

Hallo everyone,

I have an problem after every update, which means 3 times within the last 4 month and several times before.

After an update spotifiy shows me no playlist as downloaded anymore. I am able to download them again, but referring to the amount of storage used by the app they are still on the memory. I recognized this when Android told me my storage was full but I didn't download anything except for redownloading the songs.

This is solvable by deleting the whole app and re-installing it, but it is very inconvenient as there are a lot of updates and I will only notice when I am about to use spotify (most often in the car so when downloaded songs come in handy)

Does anyone have experience in this?
I am using an HTC One M9 with Android 6.0

Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community. We'd like to help. 

In this case, follow these steps: 

1. Log in to your account page and click Offline devices in the menu on the left. 
2. Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
3. Reinstall the app. Here's how. 
4. Save your offline tracks again.
