Downloaded songs on sdcard but not playing..

A complete Spotify cluster.....

Spent hours downloading music for a trip abroad, but it has disappeared. It is however still on the sdcard as the app is using 11gb.

I clear the cache, no difference.

I try offline mode no difference.

I check the support page, 'reinstall the app and download it all again'.

This is the standard Spotify support response to every issue. I'm in no rush to do that on a premium foreign data tariff.

I then try restarting the phone,  and now I am locked out of the app because it cannot login while I have the app set to offline mode, telling me to switch to online mode (which is in the app!) But it has locked me out of the app!

This is such a genius glitch I suspect Spotify is actually designed by Joseph Heller!

I am predicting Spotify support will advise me to reinstall the app and download all the music again, just a hunch.
