Downloading To SD Card

I've recently updated Spotify on my Huawei P9 lite, I've a 32GB micro SD installed on my phone. I've tried clearing all the local app data on my phone - restarting the phone - and reinstalling the app. Nothing seems to work. This would be really helpful as Huawei doesn't allow you to transfer apps to your SD, however being able to store Spotify files on my SD would hugely save space on my phone's internal SD Card.

If your SD card is formatted as internal storage and not portable storage, the storage option won't appear in spotify's settings. More details here.

Unfortunately it is formatted as portable storage! This is another reason
why it's so frustrating, as far as I can see it should work and no dice!

Strange. Try this:

• Eject and remove the SD card
• Reinstall spotify following these steps
• Pop the SD card back in and see if the storage option appears
