Downloading playlists over wifi

When I am at home, I always connect to my wifi as to not chew up my data plan on my phone.   What I want to know is if I am connected to my wifi and I download a playlist (to play in offline mode), does the playlist get downloaded over wifi or my mobile carrier network?

If you are connected to wifi then its that connection that is used.

To be sure that you never sync over 3g disable that option in the settings menu
