Entire offline library removed and re-downloading

Entire offline library removed and re-downloading

Hi,

Running on LG G4 with 6.0.

I have about 1,000 songs downloaded to my SD card so I don't need to stream. I'm always connected to the internet either via wi-fi or data provider so I don't run the app in offline mode.

Anyway, when I got to work and my phone changed from data to wi-fi after it picked up the signal my entire library was removed and it started downloading the 1,000 songs again.

Any ideas?

Yes, I got the same problems from time to time.

I switch Spotify to offline mode since Spotify eats mobile battery like a mad man. Sometimes happens when I want to download new songs (switching to online mode) the whole library is gone and I need to download all the songs again.

The problem is that the downloaded songs are already on my SD card and when I want to make playlists to offline mode Spotify do not remove older files but add new ones.

So lets say my collections is 6GB and when I want to download them again the collection is now 12 GB.....

The solution is not to remove files in app (in Settings) but to:

- uninstall the app

- manually delete the folder on SD card

- install the app

- download the songs.

Any ideas how to avoid it?
