My Question or Issue

I have noticed a strange problem. It can be, because of My mobile, but I haven't such problem before. I've try to explore similar songs (It isn't radio, but explore function on the player) and It didn't work. It just play only first song and on the next song It writes something work, please try again. I have pressed 'try again', but nothing happened. I am still connected on the internet.

Please, if You have same issue, write about It or just press to have noticed this issue too.

Thank You.

Hey @Noguri,

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please send us a short video of the issue or a few screenshots showing where exactly you are seeing this error? Also:

  • Let us know your app version.
  • See if the same happens with a different internet connection.
  • Try reinstalling the app

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

I couldn't send It, because I am blind. Anyway, I've found this problem, as I've described on this thread.

Hey @Noguri,

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

We couldn't replicate this behavior on our side, based on the steps you kindly mentioned you followed to reproduce it. In that sense, we'd like to gather further info, to better understand what exactly is happening:

  • Is the Autoplay feature enabled in the settings app?
  • Do you search and select a specific song to play through the search bar and this happens? Or are you looking for a playlist that you play, and it plays just the first song?
  • Can you replicate this behavior on a different mobile device? You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account there and check.

If you haven't yet, and if possible, we recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the stored cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select Spotify from the list of apps.
  4. Tap Storage / Storage & cache memory.
  5. Find and tap Clear storage and Clear cache.
  6. Return to the previous screen and tap Uninstall.
  7. In the phone's Files (or File Manager, My Files, etc.) app, Go to Internal Storage > Android > data. If you see a com.spotify.music folder, delete it.
*If you’re using an SD card, go to SD Card > Android > data. If you see a com.spotify.music folder, delete it.
  8. Restart your device.
  9. Go to Google Play and install the Spotify app.

Keep us in the loop!
