Finding music

I'm using Spotify free, Moto G6 Play with Oreo, USA.

Why do users have to use the search feature to find most music? The browse feature has a limited number of songs. This should be explained when the user opens the app for the first time.  I wonder how many people never even try the search.

And if the search is the main way to find music, the home screen should be the search.

did you know the search can be accessed quickly tapping on the tab twice?
