First song on album plays then reverts to previous album

My Question or Issue

I search for an album to play. Hit the green button to play. First track is played. Then, instead of playing track 2, it reverts back to whatever I was playing previously and plays that instead. I have to then stop, go back to the album I want to listen to, and restart from track 2. Album then plays as it should (track 2, 3, 4 and so on).

We tried to replicate this issue on our end, but the album playback works normally. Usually, this type of case is related to some damaged cache stored on your device from previous updates. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, let us know if this issue happens with all the albums you listen to, or if it happens with a specific one. Also, it would be great if you could include in your next response the URI of the affected album to have a better look.
