Fix your downloads when changing subscription package

I have had Spotify Premium included in my phone contract for years. This ran out today and was down graded to free. 

 

I updated my subscription back to Premium straight away, the Android App then downloaded 13GB!!!! of data to my phone straight away.

This data is not music or podcasts, it was caching and adverts!  

 

sort it out!

Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post here where it is more appropriate. 

 

Has something like this ever happened before? Be advised that when switching from Premium to free, you lose the ability to download content, thus all existing downloads are removed. How exactly did you find out what kind of data has been downloaded? Send us some screenshots of what exactly you saw and we'd be happy to take a look.
