Ford Sync (gen 1) used to, but cannot anymore, find Spotify App on Android Phone using BT

Hello,

Spotify connects to Ford Sync (gen 1) using Bluetooth on an Android Phone.  It worked when the phone was first paired, but has not worked since.  

Both the car (Ford Sync) and the Phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 5) have been restarted several times, but the same issue persists. 

Please advise.

I also have this issue I have to search for spotify everytime I get in my car or turn the ignition off, this was not the case before.
