Goodbye Spotify

Goodbye Spotify

I'm leaving Spotify today,

I was a paid user for over 2 years and when I moved countries had to become a free user while my bank gave me a new card. I have been using the plattform for over 3 years total.

And it's bad, the mobile app is slow and doesn't detect Internet connection constantly, I tried on different devices and performed troubleshooting with the twitter account for tech support many times to no avail. The desktop version is glitchy, ads make it crash constantly and becomes unresponsive frequently.

The last.fm connectivity has been getting harder and harder to figure out, this morning I realized I have not scrobbledanything for over 2 days even tho I listened to music most of those days.

I tried a different streaming provider for the first time and everything is so light, so functional ,so smooth. I have to day goodbye. I am tired of troubleshooting you, I am tired of figuring you out and constantly accepting sub part versions of your app and site. Every update has consistently made the service worse and worse.

I know spotify is not going to miss one user, but I also know I am not the only one who got fed up with a mediocre product on a mediocre app.

I hope you improve, I really do. Because now it's so funny to think that at the very beginning of this trip, I used to say "I am a spotify fan" and that's just an eye opening experience on how not to handle an online service, when now I say "I am fed up with spotify"

P.S.: I apologize for the typos here and there, I'm posting from my phone and the auto correct took a parade all over my post. Also English is not my first language so I'm sorry for any grammar errors too.
