HTC One will not sync local files

HTC One will not sync local files

Well I've been searching all night for solutions with no luck. Hoping someone can fix this for me. For some reason I cannot sync my HTC One with spotify. It does not come up under devices. I try dowloading a playlist with local files and it just idles like its about to download but just remains grey. Here are all the soulutions I've tried:

-Turning off firewall

-Reinstall spotify on both devices "Phone & Desktop"

-ran spotify as an admin

-i am indeed on the same wifi connection, UPNP enabled; still no luck

Please help!!

When you say you disabled your firewall, wa this on the router or on Windows? It may be a case that you disabled your routers firewall, but still need to configure Windows to allow the connections through.

As well as turning off all firewalls, you should also temporarily disable any anitivirus and other security programmes on your PC.

I have disabled both the firewall (Windows) and antivirus with no luck yet. It will not appear under devices so I'm kind of lost on what to do at this point. As far as the router goes I use to have a Galaxy S4 and had no issues syncing local files. For some reason this issue started when I got the HTC One so I do not know if its related to that.

There's still possibly something blocking this as it is a new device so a new threat. If you want to post a list of your running services, I'll see if there's anything which could be responsible.

In your start bar type "services.msc"

From menu/action export as a tab delimited txt file and post it here.
