Have premium and spotify is not playing songs I pick in my own playlist.

I've been a Spotify premium user for years now. Within the last year I changed to the student premium + Hulu. When I try to search for a song in my own playlist and click it, it won't play that song but instead play a random song within that playlist. But if I just go through the long playlist and click any song itll play the correct song. What's going on? Been happening for that past 2 weeks. 

It's not so easy to go through the playlist and find it as there's at least 1200 songs in the playlist. Someone help!!

I have logged in and out, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned off my phone.
