How to get rid of Ads and Surveys

My Question or Issue

Twice in the past week I have been greeted by unwelcomed ads and surveys when I opened the app. 

Why am I getting harassed when I open the app? How do I stop this?

I already have all notifications disabled. Im still getting ads/surveys when I open the android app.
