How to play liked songs after searching for a song in this playlist?

I want to play a certain song in the "liked" playlist, when I search for it in this playlist, and continue playing this playlist after the song has finished.

Hi there @JohnDoe7483,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

As you've probably noticed, the search field in playlists actually functions as a "filter", so it would only display (and subsequently queue) songs that match the keywords you've entered. Here's how you can turn it into a "search" feature on the mobile app:

  1. Open your Liked Songs and swipe down to access the Sort and Filter options.
  2. Enter a few keywords in the field. The app will automatically filter out all other results and will only display those that match them.
  3. Instead of playing the desired song, swipe right on it so that it's added to the queue instead. The app will play it once the current track is over. If you want to play it directly, just press Next from the Now Playing View.
  4. Now clear all filters and continue playing your Liked Songs as normal.

Tip: the same workaround can be used in the desktop app as well.

Hope this info was useful. In case you meant something else, feel free to elaborate further (a short screen recording would be greatly appreciated) so we can get a clear idea of what you were trying to achieve.

Cheers!
