I can't shuffle my playlists & your curated list doesn't like my meddling

You know, it's one thing that I can't properly shuffle my own playlists. It's another when your "curated" lists resist any fast-forwarding or other reasonable "meddling". Why am I paying a monthly fee for the privilege of getting frustrated by not being able to choose the music or order of music I like? What value do you provide that I can't find elsewhere?
