I updated my Sporify and now it doesn't detect my headphones. HELP

My spotify doesnt detect my headphones anymore. My phone has still the same settings, all the sounds work, my headphones work with other apps. Spotify works without the headphones but once i plug them i cannot hear a thing. I have sony experia phone.

Please someone help!

Hello. Is this something that started recently but worked before? Have you tried restarting your phone?

Yes, it used to work fine. I updated the app as suggested and this morning when i went for my jogging couldn’t get it going.

I removed and reinstalled Spotify. This did not work.

I didn’t think to restart my phone though. So, I did that and there you go, it works fine:-)
