I wish Spotify would not use my internet connection for my downloaded songs

Goodmorning guys,

I'd like to listen to Offline music (and to save internet gb) while i'm online without selecting every time the Offline mode. Is it possible?

For Example:

I have a playlist, some songs are downloaded and some songs are not;

I would like to stay in Online mode (so I can listen all the songs) and to listen to the downloaded songs without using my internet connection (because I donwloaded them!).

I wish Spotify would not use my internet connection for my downloaded songs, even if I'm online.

Spotify should always play the downloaded song in preference to streaming it - what makes you think this isn't happening @davidesgro?

I've been having the same problem that I noticed about 2 months ago when I went over my mobile data out of nowhere. After contacting Spotify directly, they said they are looking into it but it's been over a month since I heard anything from them. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

@cwakefield46 if you've already been in direct contact with Spotify, keep on at them until your issue is resoved. Ifyou used the contact form keep emailing them back.

That's been my experience but if you want a definitive answer, get in touch with Spotify.
