My Question or Issue

Hello Spotify community,

I am having a problem setting up a song from Spotify in the alarm.

When I try to go to the Spotify section in the alarm, it is usually in the "loading" state.

I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone, but the issue persists.  

Hope you can resolve this!

Thanks for reaching out. Did this ever work before? If it did, when did the issue first occur?

 

If you've only done a regular reinstall, try a clean reinstall and, if possible, reinstall or at least clear the cache on the Alarm app too. Try following the process on different networks too, both mobile data and wi-fi.

Thank you for your reply. I have followed all the steps you provided and
the problem persists.

I am using a new phone and the 🪲 appeared immediately after the first
attempt to install Spotify.

Thanks for the reply. Can you confirm if you've tested this on various networks too? If so, what was the result? If you haven't, please do so in order for us to narrow down if any network issues are causing the app communication to fail.

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the shared info.

 

In order to keep investigating this case, it would also be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

 

If the issue persists with a different account, just to check if it could be related to the device, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from the same friend or family member to test it out. 


Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
