Japanese Spotify shows foreign artists name in katakana(japanese alphabet)

Most of Japanese users, and I feel abnormal to this. Why is this in katakana, not in English alphabet?

Let us know some more details and we'll be able to assist. Could you confirm on what devices you've experienced this? Make sure you also provide us with the OS version of each device so we can take a closer look. 

Also, did this happen around a specific event, let's say a recent app update? We suggest checking your current language settings as well. If they show Japanese (Katakana), try switching to English and let us know if it makes any difference.
