Liked Songs Too Easily Unlikeable

Liked Songs Too Easily Unlikeable

Newer versions of the Android App have put the green heart next to each song in Liked Songs.

It has been a problem forever on the web and desktop UI that if you click once in the wrong place, you could just lose a song with no idea that you'd even done it, or if you do know, you probably have no idea which song you lost. If you want to undo, you have to know which song you clicked on and search for it all over again.

Now this anti-feature has been ported to a platform with even more haphazard user interaction (and less screen real estate to spare), so I've got a whole sixth of my screen that is now Desperately-Do-Not-Touch area.

Please reverse this. This is a nightmare.

Hi @chao06, thanks for your feedback! I just tested this out, and there seems to be a safeguard in place to prevent accidental removal of tracks; when I click a heart in that column a message pops up asking me to confirm whether I want to remove the track from liked songs.

That said, I'd recommend submitting your idea here so more users can add input on this, and it will also be more likely to reach the Spotify development team if there is enough user support for it.
