Liking a song through the playback control makes it dissapear?

Device: Samsung Galaxy S10+

Operating System: Android 10, but also had the same issue on android 9.

My Question or Issue: So, whenever I like a song through the notification controls something like 50% of the time or more it'll show the "downloading song" notification but it'll take up the place of the music control and then it'll completely dissapear until I go into the app and play/pause or skip song or something. I've tried wiping the cache partition. I've tried reinstalling the app. I've tried using the beta version of the app, but so far the problem persists.
