List of favourites interrupted by non favourites

List of favourites interrupted by non favourites

Hi, I have the following 'problem'

I have added several songs to my Favourites list, through the Android app.
when I listen to this list, I sometimes hear songs that are NOT on my favourite list.
(these are songs by various artists that do have songs in this list...)

is there a way to stop this from happening?

It shouldn't happen if you have a premium subscription. If you are a free user then this is something you have to accept, as described here.

that's the thing... I do have a premium subscription...

OK. What are you actually listening to - a playlist or all you saved music? It may be that you are hearing suggested tracks which play once your playlist has finished. Some users are getting this recently and there's an option "autoplay" in android setting which can be switched off to avoid this.

If I'm way off the mark, please describe each action you take (from the home screen) to isten to "your favorites". Thanks.

basicly all my saved music (as in: favourite a song I've found, or looked for...)

I don't have an "autoplay" setting (or I'm not seeing it...)

as for the actions:

open Spotify > tap "me" (bottom right) > Tap "Favorites" (is in view) > "shuffle songs"

it then plays a random song from this list.

I'm sorry, I don't have the "Me" tab so I can't check this out myself. All I can suggest is to get in touch with the support team using the online contact form. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it by email and you will hear back from one of the team shortly.

Please let me know what they say 🙂

For reference, see image.

Will do, thanks anyway!
