Local files added on PC and downloaded on mobile not playing when next in queue

My Question or Issue

 So when I add local files from my PC to my playlist they work just fine in every way, but when I download them on my phone they just slowly start to grey out one by one. I can still play them by tapping them on my screen, but they will never play when they are next in queue by either random shuffling or by me puttng them intentionally next in queue via the put in queue option. They are just skipped and the next playable song starts. I removed them from my playlist and then put them back in and it's all fine for a few days or so, then they start to grey out again one by one. This hasn't always been the case and it started happening like 3 or 4 weeks ago.
