Local files not syncing from mac to android phone

I have Spotify Premium and I am able to access my local files on my Mac computer. I created a playlist and added a soundtack from my local files to the playlist. All the songs transferred over on my Mac and I can play them on the computer, but only 4 out of the 11 songs synced with the spotify on my Samsung Galaxy S9. I have been reading through the forums trying to fix it and I am stumped. I have unistalled and reinstalled multiple times, downloaded the playlists, messed with the firewalls and sharing options on both my mac and my phone. Nothing is working. Anyone have any other suggestions???
