Mobile Playlist Sharing

Mobile Playlist Sharing

Previously, I was able to create playlists, then click Share from the 3-dot playlist menu to see several options for sharing: SMS, social media, specific contacts, etc.  The same feature still works for individual songs, but for playlists that I generated, the app gets stuck loading with all options greyed out.  Please see pic attached...

Hey there @milesmo,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We moved your post from the Chat section to the help boards as its content fits better here.

Would you mind letting us know if you've already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can help get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't do the trick, can you confirm if you're able to share any other type of content such as albums or playlists made by someone else?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

I'm having the same issue.  I can share other people's playlists and I can share albums and songs but not playlists that I made myself.

I have done a clean reinstall and it did not work.

Hi @callmeq_!

Could you try logging out, then signing back in twice in a row, as this triggers an internal refresh of the app that may help here?

It's worth logging in on another mobile device (a friend's or a relative's would do) to see if the issue persists there. You can also ask a friend or a relative who uses Spotify to log in to their account on your phone to check if they'd get the same behavior when sharing one of their playlists.

Let us know how it goes. Cheers!
