My Question or Issue

I noticed my phone slowing down so I went through the usual checks on it including looking at storage.  Whilst I was not completely out of storage space I did have 9Gb of downloaded Spotify content on my device.  Normally I store to SD card but missed that setting when we change Plan Manager recently.

So I chose SD card in settings and saw the message that Spotify was transferring m content.

48 hours later and the content has moved BUTSpotify still had over 9Gb of internal storage in use.

How long should I have to wait for Spotify to delete downloaded content after transferring it?

In this case I deleted all data from within the OS, logged in, set storage to SD and downloaded my content again.  Surely this is not necessary?
