My Question or Issue

My music is still randomly pausing on my Android. I have cleared the caches/data, but I am still experiencing the same issue as I've previously submitted a response to, a few weeks ago on March 22nd.

Hey there @sadewolu

Thanks for reaching out to us, and welcome to the Community!

Just to confirm, have you tried following these steps to perform a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.

If you've already tried any other troubleshooting steps, let us know so we can give you better suggestions.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hello,

I apologize for the late reply.

I wanted to clarify that my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, which is a
new mobile phone that I got for my birthday just last August, and I believe
that this is an issue with the phone itself because I'm also experiencing
similar issues with other music apps, such as Pandora and YouTube Music.

Until recently, I have never had this issue before with the pausing. I'm
not sure if I already mentioned this in my previous post a few weeks ago,
but the pausing more so occurs during my walk when I put my phone in my
pockets (of my jacket, sweater, sweatshirt, etc.) but does not pause so
much when I'm just holding on to it with my hand, which I find to be a bit
of an inconvenience for me.

Hi there @sadewolu,

Thank you for your reply.

If you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app since the card can be corrupted.

Keep us posted 🙂

Take care!

Hello, where would I find the SD card?

Hi there @sadewolu,

Thank you for your reply. We've double-checked and it seems like Samsung Galaxy S20 doesn't have an SD card.

Can you let us know if this only occurs from your Samsung Galaxy S20 or if it happens with other devices as well?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Take care!
