Music is taking up to much space on my andriod HELP

I want to speak to someone. My music is using too much storage space on my android. I want all my music but need to know how to not have it taking up so much space. I'd need be how to undownload for offline but not delete the playlist/songs. I've been a never paying for years. Please help.

For the best offline Spotify experience, we’d recommend having at least 1GB of free memory on your device.

With Android, it’s possible to switch the storage of offline tracks to your external SD card if you have one. Check out the steps here.

Mine is already 6,7 gb without offline songs just cache. Usually it's around 3-4 gb, but lately it's been increasing a lot. Could you please, clarify is there any limit or it can be up to 10 gb?
