Music keeps stopping when my phone is locked

Every time my phone is locked, spotify stops playing after around 10 seconds of it being locked. Tried deleting it and re-downloading, checking my sleeping apps and so forth. It will play again when click the power button to light up the screen but when idle, there's nothing. It has only started since I had a new phone not long ago.

Any ideas?

This issue might be related to a power saving option introduced by Samsung that is causing apps not working correctly while the phone is locked.
